Yeah, so this years' been crazy. I'd practically given up on painting until like a month ago when I signed up for an internet art collab an realised I was very rusty. Some of my practices can be found in my gallery now (Beaty and the Beast/Jolly Pirate). Flags and Canoe were products of the collab.

Writing kind of took over this year. Since NaNoWriMo I've been working on only one story, which is something I'm finding very hard to do. The plot is more complex than any I've written before, it's longer, older and the main characters are all adults which is very unlike me. I have only ever written children's stories before now.

Anyway, I'm intending to return to art alongside my writing. The cafe where I work wants me to create a children's storybook with pictures, which could be interesting as the main charcters are the ducks and other animals that live in the garden and I really can't draw animals . . .

But it should be fun. I don't know if anyone on here still remembers me, I think it's been nearly six months since I last logged in . . . ?
